AI adoption will move at the speed of trust. Today the technology exists to allow all of us to outperform our prior constraints, be those time, efficiency, creativity or specific skills. This moment of technological change is unquestionably amazing. Each of us should be able to unleash it to maximise our own personal self-realisation.
For that to work, the AI we use has to be an extension of ourselves. It has to be based on who we are as individuals. We each have to own our AI’s knowledge of us. And we have to be the only ones who direct it. Ultimately, it must answer to us and only us.
The solutions in market today are as much about harvesting your personal data in order to influence your decisions as the social media companies that came before. Some of them are those self same companies, this time round though they will have the firepower of frontier AI to shape your choices.
